REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Write secure, well designed, and well-tested code across the stack
To be responsible for prototyping, developing, and troubleshooting software
Experience architecting and developing complex web or mobile apps and static site
Experienced in strongly typed language
The ability to work well cross-functionally
Enjoys working across a wide variety of technologie
Is self-motivated and can work with minimal direction
Fluent in English

CORE TECH REQUIREMENTS

Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (Yii, Laravel, etc)
Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
Understanding of MVC design pattern
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workaround
Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query language
Ability to design database schemas that represent and support business processe
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
